Overall Satisfaction with 6sense


We use 6sense to generate top of funnel opportunities, seeing who when and why someone is interested in our platform. 6sense provides us targeted accounts who are in an active buying cycle. It has provided insights into what content prospects are interested in and helps us to structure our outreach.
It has helped both the AE and SDR team easily identify target accounts and contacts at organizations of all levels.

Pros

  • Shows wich accounts are most likely to be evaluating our platform
  • Helps personlize email based on prospects interests
  • Takes the guess work out of my outreach

Cons

  • the algorithim took a long time to function properly
  • needs to constnatly be updated with new target profiles
  • Can be innacurate at times, based on the algorithim
  • It has helped genearte more top of funnel leads
  • has helped to shape the discovery conversation
  • Has helped SDR's hit quota faster
6sense is designed to help sales and marketing teams uncover their full funnel by turning anonymous buying signals into rich account data and insights, for me it has helped to identify the early signals that someone is interested in our platform. It has helped to shape both my outreach as well as the first conversation, knowing what topics are interested to them goes a long way.
It has helped to understand if this is an immature buyer or a serious evaluation, based on the content they have consumed. It has also helped to weed out loose fits, folks exploring alternatives that are not true competitors are often only interested in a small part of platform rather than the big picture.
6sense was selected because it was seen as an innovative tool, with a customizable algorithm, compared to the other tools that we use it was seen as a more proactive solution.

6sense is grat for SDR teams and top of funnel generation, you do need to invest in the upfront setup and keep a close eye on it during the first 6 months. Over time it did become more accurate. It is ideal for teams with a focus on top of funnel outreach.
If inbounds are the main source of new leads it may help with some increased conversion but may not be suited for teams that do not have dedicated SDR's.
