Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

It is being used across the whole organization. It addresses the following problems: PTO requests/balances, storing documents, on-boarding in both our local office and another office in another city (as well as remote workers), payroll and benefits administration.
  • Carrier connection for benefits enrollment/admin is great. Makes on-boarding remotely so much easier and saves an HR Dept of one so much time.
  • PTO tracking is helpful to managers. Managers are easily able to approve/deny PTO requests.
  • Storing documents that employees can easily download and read is great (Seating charts, on-boarding documents, job descriptions, etc). We have a lot of great documents that make it easy to have new and old employees easily access ADP without having to constantly ask HR for the information.
  • Wish you could see PTO for the entire agency.
  • The performance reviews are not super user-friendly and are kind of a clunky system. Could definitely use an update. BambooHR has a great performance review system and I think ADP could use an upgrade.
  • Applicant Tracking is also very old and clunky. Need better integration with LinkedIn and tracking how to reach out to passive candidates.
  • PTO management - more engaged workforce
  • Benefits admin is better - more engaged workforce
  • On-boarding - many more engaged employees - especially for remote workforce
We have saved time with onboarding by having all documents on ADP. The other greatest time saver was having the carrier connection established with our provider for benefits enrollment.
We used BambooHR and really liked it. Selected ADP because we did not want to find integrations for benefits and payroll - we wanted it to be "all in one," which is what ADP Workforce Now could provide. This was the same with Zenefits.
Again, PTO requests and tracking is great for managers and employees.

It is not super helpful/useful when it comes to learning management and utilizing more updated forms of communication with new employees (especially remote ones); for example, we use videos to help describe what a department does within our agency and even welcome messages from our partners/owners. We had to purchase Grovo in order to do this. Would have been great if this was a service ADP Workforce Now offered.
