Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

Our entire company utilizes all applications of ADP WFN V12. We have been an ADP client since 2009 and upgraded from 2.0 in 2015. It is a robust and manageable system for time recordkeeping, payroll processing, benefits, talent administration, and tax filing. We also use the GL interface with our Sage product.
  • Tax reporting and filing -- always prompt and accurate
  • Wage garnishment processing -- electronic funding and recording
  • Payroll processing -- ease of use and great management reports
  • Time & Attendance -- internet-based timecards which are very user friendly
  • Increase number of pay groups in a company code (currently limited to two)
  • Time Off requests cannot be edited once submitted; No ability to generate payroll adjustments on timecard to collect negative balances
  • Effective dating does not adjust salaried pay per hire date
  • Positive impact on payroll functions and compliance.
  • Negative impact on manager engagement as some features are cumbersome to learn & would definitely benefit if onsite training provided.
Automated payroll processing saves considerable time for staff. Additionally, internet-based timekeeping is vital to our operations as we have over 90 locations.
Reviewed Paylocity and UltiPro. ADP WFN's platform is a bit cumbersome compared to other software, not as aesthetically pleasing to the eye as others. However, ADP is a workhorse and gets the job done without interruption.
ADP WFN is useful for manufacturing industries with shift work and multiple pay rates. However, it can be difficult to customize pay rates for health care compensation models.
