Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
We use ADP Workforce Now to process our biweekly payroll. We also use the platform to quickly access information on current and past employees.
- It is accurate
- It is easy to alter tables and forms to my preferences
- It can be used from any computer
- Workforce Now is more than a small company generally needs
- I cannot get the payroll input spreadsheet to tab advance to my desired next cell.
- It could cost less.
- My predecessor caused a problem with the IRS. Having a payroll service saved us from penalties.
- Having a payroll processor saves time. Estimated as $10,000 per year.
- Having a payroll processor relieves us of any liabilities from payroll tax errors.
Our HR team has saved 1-25 hours per month. -
A payroll service saves us from having to calculate both pay and PTO. We do not have to issue payroll checks or make payments to the IRS or FTB. Having PTO on paychecks saves us from having to answer employee inquiries for balances.
We used to use an ADP product that allowed us to keep the data on a local hard drive. That product was phased out. We were assigned to Workforce Now.
Workforce Now is robust and is better than the other two that I've used but it costs 50% more.
We were going to step down to RUN to save money (we are a small company) but at the time, there was no salary history in the RUN product (that has changed) and are planning to use RUN
We do not use the HR side of any payroll processing product to avoid getting locked into using any one provider.
