Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

ADP Workforce Now is currently used to process semi-monthly payroll.
  • Procedures in place that prevent payroll errors
  • User-friendly quarterly amendments and adjustments
  • ADP chat support availability
  • Better customer service/knowledge--more agents needed who are knowledgeable about the product, not just bodies who answer incoming calls.
  • Lack of follow through--I have to pester the agent to get answers.
  • Platform--I wish there was a comprehensive page where I could access all information on one page rather than having to click on the applicable tab to access certain information.
  • Multi-state filings via SmartCompliance definitely keep me free to do my other duties--anticipated savings on potential late fees, etc.
I am not familiar with this.
I've used another ADP platform with a previous employer (we referred to the platform as V5) along with Enterprise eTime. Workforce Now is definitely more limited than the V5 platform (it was for an employer with +5,000 employees). Workforce Now is great for small businesses in my opinion.

The qualify of support depends on who I connect with. Some days, I get to interact with someone who is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant, and other days, not so much. I understand that some of the agents operate with a 'call center' type of mentality and it shows. I particularly do not appreciate the scripts they are clearly required to read from. It wastes my time to sit there and listen to their empty words.
Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty user friendly.
ADP Workforce Now platform isn't for everyone. I would recommend it for smaller businesses (below 150 employees or so). It is pretty user friendly and has appropriate procedures in place to avoid human errors, etc.
