Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
ADP is used by our associates and enables them to request vacation, obtain pay statements and T4 statements, access benefit information, and receive communication and links to important resources. This process was traditionally manual with paper statements, vacation manually inputted, etc. This has provided associates with a one-stop location for all the information they need and is accessible to associates on leave or who leave the company.
Pros
- Helps you to manage vacation[.]
- Benefit enrolment is simple and easy to follow[.]
- Easy to update associate information to ensure they receive information they need[.]
- Easy to track beneficiaries and dependents[.]
- Easy to access documents like pay statements and T4s[.]
- Was especially helpful during Covid-19 lockdown as we were able to communicate easily with associates throughout layoffs etc[.]
- Allows us to modify branding for different divisions[.]
- Robust reporting[.]
Cons
- Toggling between English and French is complicated[.]
- Defaults to [the] US even though we are based in Canada and profiles are created in Canada. This causes user issues[.]
- Forgot username/password process doesn't always work easily and associates often require admin assistance when they need to update this information[.]
- Simplified T4 and pay statements (reduced cost of printing physical copies)[.]
- Simplified vacation tracking and allowed the company to set blackout dates as appropriate (this was managed by each location previously)[.]
- Document storage cloud simplified onboarding - no longer required the cost of duplicating files and sending to home office - now all docs are kept in the cloud with easy access as needed[.]

It was complex during the [setup] process and took a while to get everything to run smoothly. Integration with Kronos was smoother than biometrics - we had several issues during [start-up] but now things are running smoothly. A [well-executed] plan and strong project manager are recommended with a large, complex organization such as ours. Once the integration was complete and a few issues ironed out, everything went smoothly and continues to.
