Overall Satisfaction with Atera

We are a managed services provider and utilize Atera to manage endpoints for clients. We automate day-to-day tasks with Atera, which helps increase productivity as well as minimize downtime for end users. We've been able to reduce the time spent on manual tasks with the wide range of scripts provided by Atera.

Atera makes it very easy to upload custom scripts to automate tasks. It also has a decent library of pre-built scripts that apply to many day-to-day tasks. The email alerts it provides allow us to respond to issues quickly and helps minimize any downtime for our clients.
We utilize Atera for RMM, remote access, and reporting. Some features, such as billing and ticketing, do not work well with how we operate. However, we've been able to contact Atera to voice our issues with those parts of the software, and while they may not get implemented, we feel that they at least listen to our concerns and work with us to try to mold the product to best fit our needs.
Atera has many of the same features as the other products we've tested. The selling point for us was the pricing model for Atera. Most other providers charged a fee per endpoint which could quickly add up. With Atera's pricing model, we have a fixed annual cost which is lower compared to most other similar products.

Atera is an affordable solution for MSPs looking to quickly set up endpoint management. Deploying software and setting up patch management policies is quick and intuitive. Remote access through Splashtop is also very convenient. Its integration with some of the top platforms, such as AV products and remote access clients, is also very helpful. One major issue we have with Atera is the ticketing system. It doesn't work well for our needs, and we have to use 3rd party software which is better suited as a helpdesk ticketing system.
