Overall Satisfaction with Braze
It is our primary ESP for our enterprise email program. We send over a billion emails a year to a list of millions and need a platform that can handle our volume and throughput. We nurture users through complicated purchases and major life events through personalized email automations. After nurture period, we reengage unconverted users with their category through daily ad hoc email sends.
Pros
- Handles large volumes of email
- Makes segmenting audiences easy
- Robust catalog solution
- Powerful drag and drop email builder
Cons
- Automation send time options
- Automation UI
- Visibility into custom event payloads
- Improved deliverability
- Record revenue achieved
Braze has improved how we engage with our customers. The cross-channel functionality, once we are fully utilizing more channels, will allow us to create consistent messaging across email, push, and SMS, which will lower acquisition costs and boost engagement rates. Real-time streaming data and canvas orchestration have enabled us to respond instantly to customer behavior, leading to more personalized interactions and stronger conversion rates.
I actually really liked Iterable, but was forced internally to switch platforms due to its inability to handle our volume and its rising costs. Iterable was much easier to use out of the box, and I preferred much of its UI, but ultimately, our business outgrew it. We spent 9 months evaluating new platforms that would meet our business's needs, and Braze won out because it checked all the boxes. Their great sales team spent countless hours on demos, ensuring that our every need would be met.
