Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

I use it for Project management and I love it. I have used Notion, Trello, and Asana and nothing comes near ClickUp. I have a boutique brand marketing agency and I use ClickUp to have project trackers. I like that I can have a list view and a board view. And as of late I've been using a lot of the time trackers to be accurate on my billable hours as well as the video capability as I send my team offshore explanations about project tasks — that way I don't have to spend money on Loom.
  • Project tracking
  • Time tracking
  • Video sharing
  • Search capability could be better, like Roam research.
  • It can be a bit overwhelming at times. there's so much to "click" on that it might be intimidating, that's why I didn't ue it as much originally but I stuck with it.
  • I wish the videos that are not saved as a task didn't get lost in the ether... I don't know where those are and I'd like to remove them.
  • It saves me money on these apps: Loom, Toggle (time tracking), and Trello.
It's very intuitive to use tasks and projects and see their progress on a Trello board. I don't see it being as useful for brainstorming. I haven't had the chance to use it for goals but I am excited to try that feature.
Removing the need for these apps:
- Asana
- Loom
- Toggle (time tracker)
- MS Project
- Trello
- Notion
ClickUp is far superior to all of them, except maybe Loom, but it's good enough for me and I don't have to pay extra.

Where it is less appropriate is on team collaboration and messaging — I feel email and Slack are still much better.
