Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

We use ClickUp to handle ongoing workloads and manage our projects. It's used across the whole of the UK & US organizations, and our clients can work with us through guest accounts on our workspace. ClickUp helps us: manage advertising campaigns coordinate strategy work organize internal development and deployment of data tools coordinate our staff support. Prior to using ClickUp different teams used a variety of tools which made coordination more difficult, and meant that staff moving to another team had to learn new products as well as new workflows. ClickUp has solved these problems for us and helped break up operational silos by making it easy to work across teams. Our stakeholders - whether clients or management - can now track the progress of work quickly and easily at no additional cost to SYZYGY.

Coordination at SYZYGY improved across the board. The best example is our new starters process, which requires coordination between four departments - HR, Finance, IT, and Facilities. Using a template and a form has allowed us to quickly capture the details of a new starter joining our organization, and then create a task with subtasks assigned to each department for the work required. ClickUp has replaced a messy combination of helpdesk tickets and email chains with a single Task and Subtasks for each item/event in the process, ensuring nothing is missed and that everything happens at the correct time. No previous solution has been able to coordinate four departments as easily as ClickUp does. Other departments are now using a similar solution to make it easier for their colleagues to make requests, and easier for them to handle those requests.
Our teams have used forms and templates to standardize some workflows. We've also used the built-in automation to ease some workflows, especially where custom fields are capturing information that can help determine who should be assigned to a task. Finally, we've also used the email integration and API features to automatically generate tasks when some platforms are alerting or showing possible performance issues.
We had previously used Jira for some project management and a variety of tools at the small team level but needed to find something that was as flexible as Jira without being as intimidating for non-technical staff. ClickUp was the best combination of ease of use, features, and power. During a 1 month long evaluation, we were impressed by its clean interface, broad feature set, and wide integrations. ClickUp also met all of our security and data privacy requirements, which not all evaluated tools could.

ClickUp is excellent at task and project management and provides decent reporting options. It's also very easy to coordinate work, with people able to @mention others to bring them into a task. ClickUp also provides good integration and automation features. ClickUp is well suited to small and medium-sized teams that use the Microsoft Office 365 or Google Workplace platforms. ClickUp does have a relatively flat structure which may be a problem for larger organizations but works well for small to medium-sized teams.
