Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
I use our ClickUp boards to manage our case workflows and record conversations, information, and files via the application. Rather than a task representing a product in a process, ours represent an individual whose needs via our firm are processed through the task. The checklists, assignee features, due dates, and custom field opportunities help massively with this.
Pros
- The ability to customise the features you can apply how you want.
- The integrations with other platforms help streamline processes.
- Online collaboration, which is important for our team, is smooth.
Cons
- Sometimes the app is slow/glitching.
- Recorded webinars on examples of how to use different views effectively.
- More personalisation with text - word art etc...
- We were previously using Trello, which was more expensive than ClickUp, so an initial saving there.
- Cases are generally being completed faster - time is money after all...
- ClickUp has helped me use more electronic applications instead of paper-based processes.
ClickUp has definitely improved my team's collaboration. Firstly, the different views help massively with this as some of my team prefer different views to others which helps them work better and more efficiently. There is also a 'chat' view which we use for a general chat rather than specific conversations on a case. We have also learned to record our projects via the app which has massively improved their completion times and recording detail - this is through the use of different spaces you can create. My senior manager also uses her own private space for business management which has helped her massively as it has centralized everything she needs to do and still kept it separate from the main workflow.
The main automation I use is archiving a task once all checklist ticks are complete, and rearranging a list via sorting through dates. These have been especially useful for arranging and managing our upcoming client meetings as we can track them in a methodical order. It also arranges the list on the basis of importance.
We were using Trello when I first started at my company, and within six months of being at the company, I researched and implemented ClickUp for my team. The main reason was the ability to access more features and views on ClickUp to make it your own personalized case management system to work best for your processes. It also seemed like a more slick and well-produced system for our team to work on.
