Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
I use ClickUp for project management as well as for keeping track of many things behind the scenes. It is hugely versatile and has made a big difference.
- Task management.
- Lists
- Time management.
- Sharing features.
- Can be overwhelming to get started.
- The minimal display option made a big difference but had I not found it; I may have left ClickUp (perhaps it should be the default).
- The free plan should not limit use cases of custom fields; a limited number of custom fields themselves would be fine.
- I can now keep track of tasks within projects seamlessly; I only used notes before that, which was no good. I save time and know what's going on every day across my business now.
- I now have the tools to plan better processes in my business, I'm visual, and it helps to map it out on ClickUp to create a proper system.
- I'm able to keep my clients in the loop on progress by sharing their space/list.
I'm a sole trader but have tried inviting someone before, which worked fine; I was able to share only what I needed with her while keeping other boards private.
It has replaced notes and Trello. It filled gaps that I didn't have a solution for before. It may replace Toggl in the future if I decide to move time tracking over, but I'm not sure if it tracks billables with a rounding option (it might). It will minimize email back and forth in the future when I start a team. Makes business easier to minimize the different tools used.
