Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We currently use Cordial as our main email sending platform for all of our Promotional and Transactional messages. Our sister company and human resources department are also utilizing Cordial to send out their emails.

Pros and Cons

The UI is very clean and simple. Allow for easy navigation.
The sculpt tool in Cordial allows for easy email creation.

Micro-interactions on the platform can be improved. (i.e. search functionality is delayed and causes the screen to refresh with each key stroke).
The Sculpt tool doesn't provide standard templates/blocks. They all need to be made from scratch.

Return on Investment

Positive: Cordial's platform has enabled us to churn out email campaigns quicker than ExactTarget. This platform ultimately allows us to test more and generate a higher Revenue Per Email.

Alternatives Considered

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Studio and Adobe Campaign

Cordial by far has the best UI for simple navigation.

Cordial is a great ESP tool for users who are new to the CRM space. Their easy-to-use interface makes it a very straight forward tool. Since their platform is so new, their features aren't as robust as ExactTarget or Adobe Campaign. For example, ExactTarget provides ready to use email templates. If you're in Cordial, you'll need to create the templates from scratch.
