Overall Satisfaction with Expensify
Expensify was used by my entire company, starting at the time we had 30 employees up until the time we were acquired. |
- Links up to a credit card and automatically creates receipts.
- Let's you get reimbursed for miles using a maps plugin where you can enter a starting point and final destination.
- If you chose to scan receipts the it could take a long time for them to registers.
- It didn't categorize receipts consistently on it's own.
- Saved time doing a mundane non-rev generating task like expense reports.
- Had a quick approval process where managers were notified of pending reports again saving time.

Expensify felt like a perfect consumer app that you pick up and start using. The mobile app was so good that I rarely cracked open my laptop for expense reports. Workday would start a conversation in our office about how it felt like we were back in the early 2000s doing expense reports on spreadsheets and taping on receipts.
