Overall Satisfaction with GoToMyPC
GoToMyPC is a useful software that had helped us work in the organization remotely. It is mainly used when there is a business trip. The person who is on the trip logs in their computer wherever they are and automatically connects without the need to be experienced in networks or coding. Another example of how this software is used, is for connecting to its peer computer, maybe to fix a problem or just help with a report.
- Provides a great security while connected. GotoMyPc validates and verifies files and data that goes through your account
- You can perform your workflow and labor task with flexibility
- Very cheap monthly fee, for a great service and software.
- Sometimes the consistency in the connection might lag and create some errors.
- Some issues might be beyond our knowledge, therefore a technician or expert might be needed (rare case)
- If connecting from home, it will take a lot of your data and might slow other devices connections
- We have saved money on expensive network devices for remotely access
- It increases productivity by working from any part of the world at any time.
- The ease of use have avoid us excessive charges on training for the software
Connection is not the same. GoToMyPC has a stronger connection compared to Chrome remote. I feel that GoToMyPC is very reliable and secure. I can access remote desktops and share or sync files through the app’s web browser on any device, not sure about the competitor but, I definitely like how the app looks for GoToMyPC.

25 - The main function that provides to the company is to provide a connection remotely between two computer, taking away all the firewall protocols and adjustment. Secondly, we can do collaborations and demonstrations with colleagues, clients and suppliers in real time. Lastly and most important is that it increases productivity in the company.
25 - Basically, the people who uses this software are mid-level to management level personnel. In other words, people who role is important and necessary at any moment. Others who use the software in an indirect way are IT technicians. They make sure to provide a good connection from the inside of the company.

The most important factor that came to the table when planning to get a remote desktop software, was price. We did not wanted to spent a lot for something that we were going to try. After trying it we definitely knew it would become helpful and productive, therefore we purchase a monthly fee.
I would go ahead and research more in this area. We did not get a lot information on remote desktop softwares but the first option and cheap one that came up was GoToMyPc. Also, I would have done a screening process of connections between this software and another. At the end, GoToMyPc was definitely the one.

I have called once regarding an issue with my login. I was starting to use this software, therefore, did not had experience in the interface. I used the login limit which later I had to call customer service. They resolve my issue very fast and were very kind trying to go the extra mile. I felt satisfied after the call and logged in again without any issue.

Yes - Works pretty well. It supports viewing the complete display of your host computer even if it uses multiple monitors. The combination of all features in a desktop computer transferred to a mobile device are shown. In my opinion, the mobile app provides a a better user experience, stability and secure remote connection.
