Overall Satisfaction with Heap
We use Heap to gain web analytics insights beyond Google Analytics.
- User based, not session based.
- Autotracking events, which can be defined later.
- Easy to create reports.
- It's self help, so it requires time and effort to learn and feel comfortable.
- Would like more help getting basic event definitions and reports set up together.
- Education is nice and structured, but not that as flexible and ad hoc.
- We are just starting to use Heap to measure conversion rates, so at least now we have a baseline to try to improve upon through A/B testing.
- Our team is becoming more data centric in making decisions.
- Don't have an ROI yet.
A lot cheaper than GA and user-based analytics better than session-based. Event auto capture a lot more flexible than Mixpanel.
