Overall Satisfaction with Hootsuite
At my current job, we use Hootsuite for social media content moderation
and engagements. Along with this moderation, we often tag messages for
further analysis.
and engagements. Along with this moderation, we often tag messages for
further analysis.
At a past job, we used Hootsuite for sharing content via email and scheduling posts for Instagram.
Pros
- Email delivery and management
- "Inbox 2.0" content filters and organization
- Post planning & automatic delivery
Cons
- "Inbox 2.0" Layout - content is squished together, column sizing is fixed
- Tagging system - small pop-up box with a scrolling list that must be saved, tags are not automatically applied
- No specific message case numbers - if you want to find an old message from a user that has engaged multiple times, you need to scroll through their content history and find it
Hootsuite is a metro for scheduling, engaging, and analyzing social media campaigns. It is easier to keep track of user engagements via Hootsuite than it would be doing native checks. There is a "saved asset" function where you can upload pre-approved responses for future use, which helps to create and maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Sprinklr Social, Khoros Social Media Management and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Social Studio (retiring)
Sprinklr is far superior for user engagement. However, as far as I know, it does not have post scheduling or maintenance. I would recommend Hootsuite over Khoros and Social Studio.
