Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

We are a small B2B supplier with very loyal clients. We needed a way of managing all of our contacts as our business grew. Most CRMs are geared more toward pursuing new business and sales pipelines, but we needed something to stay in front of our loyal clients. The "flywheel" concept embraced by HubSpot fits our needs much better. We have many short cycle relationship sales, not the long hunt trying to sell a contract. HubSpot has helped us stay in contact with our clients with timely information and touches that maintain and grow trust relationships.
  • It is incredibly easy to configure, teach, and use.
  • The email templates and snippets save lots of time and help maintain a consistent message regardless of the user.
  • Email sequences are a nice way to make sure your message gets out on time and appropriately.
  • The visibility of what documents and information is being consumed and what isn't making an impact.
  • The mobile app is good but could be better. Being able to see what clients and prospects are near you on a map so you can drop in on someone if time becomes available would be nice.
  • When I want to write a quick follow up email from the app after an appointment I do not have access to the documents that are stored in HubSpot within the email portion of their mobile app. They have access to meeting links, documents on my phone, and templates. However, if I want to send a tracked price list or product brochure I have to wait until I get back to the office or bust out the laptop. This should be an easy fix but it hasn't been corrected yet.
  • The salespeople that have embraced HubSpot have had the greatest sales increases.
  • We have seen much more visibility of sales activities so we can coach appropriately.
  • HubSpot helped us stay in touch with our clients during COVID allowing us to have our best sales year ever.
HubSpot's ease of use and culture of great customer service won us over. We had previously tried Zoho CRM which had a very nice mobile app that we loved but configuration and customer service were challenging. We would have had to hire a consultant to get everything running the way we needed it to. After that, we tried Salesforce Essentials which looked great but I either needed an IT person or consultant to customize and keep it running efficiently. I set up and configured HubSpot CRM by myself and it is so easy to manage. Not having to hire outsiders saves us tons of money, time, and frustration.
Bot Zoho CRM and Salesforce Essentials have better mobile apps for field sales. That is the current weakness of HubSpot but they are working hard and fast to add capabilities to their mobile app. The ease of use and top customer service are what steered me to HubSpot. When you work with HubSpot you can tell they really want you to succeed and help you. The others seem to want you to pay one of their consultants so they don't have to deal with you directly. If you are a larger company with a knowledgeable IT department that can handle the configurations, onboarding, and maintenance of Zoho or Salesforce, it might come down to which mobile app you like best. For us, the great support and HubSpot Academy have made our choice to go with HubSpot very easy.

Did implementation of HubSpot CRM go as expected?

Would you buy HubSpot CRM again?

HubSpot is great for companies that don't have an IT team or tech-oriented user base. The ease of use and great customer support make implementing HubSpot painless. If you have a large outside sales team then a more mobile-based product might be worth considering instead. If your sales team is working more from desks then HubSpot is perfect. I can't express enough how much I love the desktop experience and the amazing culture at HubSpot that puts its customers first.

Using HubSpot CRM

4 - We have three salespeople using HubSpot primarily for the CRM features. Our office manager also uses it to notate communications about late payment on invoices and things like that so the sales team is not pushing forward on a sale to a client with slow payment issues. Nothing worse than winning a deal to find out they are on credit hold.
1 - HubSpot CRM is very easy to set up and implement. I am a part of the sales team and I did it by myself. There is very little we have to manage and we have very few issues working with it. This ease is why I chose it over Salesforce Essentials and Zoho CRM.
  • Easy to use centralized list of clients and prospects
  • Geting timely and relevent messaging to our loyal clients
  • Seeing what messaging is effective and what is not
We are very happy with HubSpot CRM and it has been of great value to our sales team. It is easy, stable, and helps us work more efficiently.
