Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

We mainly use HubSpot to manage deal flow and report on deal activity. This includes initial sales as well as add-ons and work orders. HubSpot's reporting is key to our KR reporting.

Additionally, we use HubSpot as a general CRM. It captures all of our customer contacts, email templates, and some of our email automation.

Pros

  • Deal flow management
  • Contact management
  • Email templating

Cons

  • Analytics and reporting can be quite complex
  • Viewing all fields for a Deal is inconvenient
  • Navigating between records is not smooth or intuitive
  • Decreased missed/dropped/forgotten Deals
  • Improved information availability across departments
  • Improved efficiency through email templates
HubSpot is very flexible and has a lot of functionality. This is great if you can dedicate a user as the admin and have them learn to configure and maintain the software. However, it is more complex than other CRMs I've used, so if no one has the time to dedicate to admin duties, it may be limiting.
HubSpot has helped to better align our sales and marketing efforts by providing a centralized source of truth for all contact information and a complete interaction history. This allows us to identify all touches with a customer throughout the funnel and better understand which efforts pay off and which are less effective.
HubSpot sits in the upper-middle of the complexity and flexibility scale compared to these other systems. It is more adaptable than Zoho and Zendesk, but less than Salesforce. It has a more modern UI than the other options but is less intuitive than Zoho or Zendesk. This may be due to the complexity.

Do you think HubSpot CRM delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with HubSpot CRM's feature set?

Yes

Did HubSpot CRM live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of HubSpot CRM go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy HubSpot CRM again?

Yes

HubSpot is a great CRM and does a good job of logging customer details, notes, and conversation history. It also provides the ability to set up email templates for common messages which is a big time saver. Deal flow management is also quite good and offers a lot of flexibility and automation opportunities. However, setting up the system and reporting requires that an admin be dedicated to the software, which can be a burden.
