Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

It is being used by the entire organization for privacy, security, and sexual harassment training.
  • Content provided is relevant and informative.
  • The notification system allows me to define how and when to notify users of available training.
  • Single Sign-On makes authentication extremely easy and efficient.
  • Providing support for SCIM.
  • Better reporting.
  • More robust RBAC controls on who can access what in the admin console (separating by role/business function).
  • We have seen increased reporting of security events, resulting in fewer incidents and actual investigations.
  • Basic reporting allows us to report on overall compliance within or ISMS.
KnowBe4 is a secure, inexpensive platform that has relevant and up-to-date content. Their marketing team does a great job at advertising events and webinars to attend that helps you explore the platform more.

Yes

It has improved it overall. Allowing us to move from annual campaigns to quarterly ones. Gives us the chance to constantly train our employees while the content remains fresh.
User accounts and managed manually, with CSV importing and archiving.
Training completed, training outstanding, training module scores, how many failed attempts, phishing metrics.
It is suited well for organizations looking to implement an awareness training platform efficiently and easily. However, if you're looking for full user automation - it could use some work (SCIM support).

KnowBe4 Compliance Plus

We've really only needed this subscription for HR-based training (Sexual Harassments and Bias). All the other training content, however, appears to be vast and good.
It simplifies things so that users only have to ever use one platform for all training. Kind of like have an LMS. Super helpful.
I suspect it would, if you had a much more robust training and compliance program. Again, it was required for HR-based training.
Our needs to have all the other training content was not required. We are a small company with simple compliance needs for ISO/SOC 2.
I am unaware, we were already KnowBe4 customers, locked into a 3 year agreement. It made sense to stick with KnowBe4 and co-term the new compliance plus licenses. We did not shop around.

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training New Features

We heavily relied up SCIM provisioning, with Okta, since it came out. It has made administrative efforts easy. I no longer need to manually create accounts, add them to training and terminate accounts. With SCIM provisioning and smart groups in KnowBe4 our training program for the entire year was automated on January 1.
We have not used this feature of of yet, as our compliance efforts and user base is relatively small.
