Overall Satisfaction with Looker
Looker is our go-to tool for reporting on all the users' data in our platforms. We use it to get instantaneous information about specific aspects in each platform, and we also use it to build dashboards and reports that provide us with both realtime and historical insights for specified periods of time. The level of granularity Looker provides is awesome because we can drill down on events and extract much more detailed information.
Pros
- Creating visuals and tiles that help you understand your data with just a glance.
- The ability to quickly add and remove filters, and measures to your existing reports and being able to start from one point and go from there instead of starting from scratch.
- It's fairly fast, especially when dealing with huge amount of data.
Cons
- Some filters don't work the way you expect them to so you will have to think o fa workaround.
- Sometimes the report crashes if the complexity of the calculation is quite large.
- It's not easy to merge fields or pivot on them.
- Looker helps us monitor how the users interact with our platforms and helps us improve the user experience.
- We were able to find issues in our platforms that otherwise were missed which allowed us to fix those issues and gain more traffic to those parts.
- We would estimate a 20% increase in our website traffic and 13% increase in our conversion rate.
