Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365
Microsoft 365 in our organization is used for everything from productivity. The Office Suite is invaluable for everything from documents and documentation in Word, spreadsheets and data models in Excel, presentations used internally and for in-person conferences or virtual webinars in PowerPoint, OneNote for managing and taking meeting notes, Teams for collaboration and meetings (coupled with Copilot for sales that is able to summarize meetings and action items), OneDrive for storing and sharing documents, and SharePoont.
Pros
- Interoperability.
- Collaboration.
- Simplification of sign-in (SSO).
- Standardization of file formats and templates.
Cons
- Updates of PowerPoint to keep up with competing products (e.g. Prezi).
- Add enhancements to OneNote to add functionality to an otherwise stale product.
- Create new products that make sense in the current ecosystem (e.g., updating Publisher to be more Canva-like or in general a better web and modern focus for communication).
- Positive ROI from collaboration ability.
Microsoft is leaps and bounds ahead of these product suites and is an ecosystem unto itself, except for Google Workspace, which offers more features in its online versions than Office Online.
