Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams

At my company, which is a software solutions company, we use Microsoft Teams across the entire organization. It is being used by every department as we are phasing out Skype for Business. MS Teams is used for having regular calls, video calls, screen sharing calls, chat/text/IM, and is even used to host meetings with prospects when they are local/in the United States. I also have personally used it to store and share files, especially meeting agendas or other information that is relevant to my conversations with my colleagues.
  • The call quality is really good. I rarely have connectivity issues with MS Teams.
  • I love that I am able to share cloud versions of Word/Excel docs and it is housed within my chat or within my "team" that I create.
  • MS Teams screen sharing functionality is easy to use and not glitchy. I feel like it is straightforward and even first time users can figure out how to do it.
  • So far I have not seen a whole lot of room for improvement with MS Teams. For my purposes, it fits my needs very well.
  • I do not see many "gaps" or holes to be filled with this software.
  • Strong ROI- simple to use, makes inter-office communication simple.
  • Like the ease of use/layout of the iPhone app.
  • Great for video calling, screen shares, audio quality is great - saves time and hassle that can be found with many meeting software services.
Like I mentioned previously, I like MS Teams a lot. I think GoToMeeting has some strong positives, and I use it more for international calls (especially because many professionals have familiarity with GTM); however, I have seen the quality of MS Teams exceed what I personally would have expected or hoped for. I have not had many good experiences with Skype. My audio constantly has issues, I've been on screen share meetings with many issues, the audio clarity/connection has been a problem, and also it does not have the same doc sharing functionality MS Teams does. I feel like the switch to MS Teams has been a very positive choice for my organization.
I am giving a support rating of 9 as I have not yet had to use support - and that is a GREAT thing to me!

Do you think Microsoft Teams delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Microsoft Teams's feature set?

Yes

Did Microsoft Teams live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Microsoft Teams go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Microsoft Teams again?

Yes

I will start by saying that at this point in time I do not see many situations where MS Teams would not meet an organization's needs for calling, chatting, screen sharing, etc.
That being said, I think MS Teams is very well suited for inter-office chat. It is well suited for keeping web-based copies of documents and spreadsheets so that things do not get lost and there is no need to email attachments back and forth. I also have had strong success in sending MS Teams meetings links to my prospects - no one has indicated to me they have had trouble using it. Also, I do not mean to "call out" a competitor but I feel with every GoToMeeting I am a part of there are "delays" or "gaps" in every single presentation at regular intervals, which usually seem to be a few minutes a part, but it consistently happens throughout the call every time. I also feel this has been a great replacement for Skype where I have had MANY audio and connections issues.
