Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is available to our entire organization. We're slowly deprecating other existing chat tools and migrating people to handle communications via Teams instead. It allows a robust collaboration platform that can be used consistently across the organization. Previously we had many different tools being used because no one tool provided as much capability as we get from Teams.
- Allows remote team members to stay connected
- Chats can be quickly moved to audio or video calls when needed
- The layout could be improved to make things more intuitive. There are lots of options, and sometimes it's hard to navigate.
- I'd like to see an option to mute a conversation on the notification popup so you can quickly disable distracting conversations.
- Reduced time spent reading and responding to email
- Increased team engagement with funny gifs and stickers in discussion threads
- Slack and Jira Software
Microsoft Teams was the best option for us because of its deep integration with other Microsoft products. It works seamlessly with the Office suite and makes collaboration and workflows with SharePoint and Flow possible in a way that other tools couldn't do or couldn't do as easily. That's what really sold it for us.
