Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams
We use Microsoft Teams as our corporate collaboration tool. Including video conferencing, chat, document sharing, discussion boards, and easy navigation into SharePoint.
Pros
- Sound quality is fantastic
- Video conferencing is impressive
Cons
- It is challenging to understand initially how the Microsoft Teams structure works, as it does not map onto the business hierarchy.
- If you have lots of chats, you can respond and not realize you are responding to a group and not an individual
- Reduction in travel cost
- Easy access to all information
- Skype for Business (formerly Lync) and Google Hangouts
Microsoft Teams was the successor to Skype for Business, so more of a forced upgrade. However, with O365, it is an integrated collaboration tool.
