Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In the organization, Miro is used as a collaborative board, where any kind of exercises have been developed, i.e. Story mapping, visioning, impact mapping, and others, all the participants agree in Miro is an intuitive and easy to use tool that has mitigated the impact of being present during the pandemic. Particularly I use to conduct brainstorming and story mapping.

Pros and Cons

Vote feature: it helps when the team have to take decisions
Templates: Offer templates helps to save time during the construction of the board
Integration: Have the possibility to integrate with other apps give additional value in order to create a complete collaborative environment
Map processes.

The desktop app is not fast as the online, is something that can be improved.

Implementation Rating

I have not explored all the potential that Miro offers, but with the few options that I have seen, many of my workshops are more fluently and interactive with the participants. Also received better feedback from them related to the use of the tool, even some of them start to use it. In a few words, I'm really satisfied with the tool.

There are a lot of apps that complement the experience, and this is something positive because it can help to explore the limits that new users have when they face Miro for the first time.it happens to me

Collaboration

Miro is my location's principal Board tool used in Business Analysis Discipline. I could say that is the principal tool in the workshops. Also, it helps the team to map processes and track important details that came up during workshops.

Some scenarios where Miro is a useful tool from my experience is when I have to develop Workshops on the discovery stage, it helps to have an organized structure and have better outcomes from the activities. Also, the artifacts for agile methodologies complement the progress of the ceremonies in an effective way.
