Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used almost daily to visualize business processes, workflow or data flow relationships, mind maps, and work breakdown with user story maps. Boards can be structured to organize work as individual deliverables, or to include multiple related models and visualizations on a single canvas,

Pros

  • Dynamically drawing and linking objects within a model
  • Team collaboration on one or more models/boards
  • Transferring/sharing models to different boards
  • integration and availability of Apps

Cons

  • Text formatting - too many clicks to change font/style color alignment
  • Modifying text/objects within a table - especially grouped objects is difficult
  • The user story widget only adds items horizontally, vertical stacking (within a release under an Epic) would be very useful.
  • Ability to quickly get ideas documented improves productivity
  • Ability to quickly illustrate relationships among different types of business entities fosters rapid collaboration and consumption
  • Ability to quickly scope work effort to determine project viability
I've been using the product since it was introduced as "RealtimeBoard" and have found its evolution to be relatively painless
As mentioned, I use Miro mainly as an individual contributor visualizing various business models. The times I have used it in a collaborative environment the platform worked very well.
Miro has more visualization tools, capabilities, and better ease of use than others I have tried.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I use Miro mostly as a single contributor, I can develop models quickly for use in other applications - i.e., develop a process model in Miro and clip it as an image for a PowerPoint presentation.

I have also used Miro as a team collaboration tool which works extremely well for remote/distributed teams.

I have also made extensive use of photographing hand written stickies in group workshop sessions and converting them on a Miro board for further organization and distribution to team participants
