Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

We use monday.com to help with onboarding of team member. We have a list of immediate items/tasks we go through with each new member to get them familiar with our systems.

Implementations of new or updated features in all of our HR systems.

project Management-Our PM on our team uses monday.com to keep track of all new and in progress projects each with their respective board. We use it to send reminders on past due items as well as assign new tasks as others are marked complete. We not only use it on our team but allow other teams access to needed boards if their involvement for either testing or implementation is required.

Pros

  • Ability to add owners to specific tasks and sub tasks
  • send reminders to individuals about upcoming or past due tasks
  • automation of creation of new tasks depending on the completion of others
  • status tracking
  • visualization of the status of tasks in a specific board

Cons

  • a feature to communicate to other members of the board besides the notes would be great that way tracking of convos can be reviewed easier
  • streamlined our project intake capabilities
  • allowed us to set up templates that we regularly use for task so we can quickly begin new projects/tasks
  • the collaboration and ability to see where other members are on a task/project is wonderful
I think to its developers like all software is very easy to use but to outsiders monday.com can take hours to become familiar with just the basic functionality. It is a great platform but is not the most user friendly platform
support has been quick to respond with great tips and advice
it may just be our hardware but monday.com slows everything down when i log on

I think it is very useful for all sorts of tasks and projects but to be able to use it to its full potential you do need a dedicated person well versed in how to configure the different parts that would be needed to successfully use the platform. In my opinion, a regular inexperienced person would not be able to use monday.com effectively without spending hours becoming familiar with it
