Overall Satisfaction with Oracle PeopleSoft HCM

Oracle Peoplesoft HCM was used by our organization to manage employees, help with human resource activities, and as a talent resource tool. It was highly effective at providing tools, information, and concise operations for managing employee information. While not perfect, the software tool offers a number of subset tools including talent finding resources, workforce management, some reporting features, and labor law monitoring system. For our organization, the product was also used as a "membership" that help manage member profiles as well as employees. While fairly solid as a product, it does have some negative problems such as a clunky interface, slow performance issues, and support can be problematic at times. However, the product was more than helpful for our organization's goals and it might even have been an overkill for our needs.

We reviewed a number of comparable software solutions and ended up choosing Peoplesoft HCM due to its features, solid platform, and the backing of Oracle. The product outshined others with its integrated portal, flexibility with user group access, and the ability to use the product for different purposes. The product also offered better scalability to meet the increased demands of large employee pools down the road.
The product really does well with a human resource department in a small to medium employee base. It offers a fairly solid set of reporting tools that help track transactions or employee changes. The product also provides a fairly concise and clean flow of information with a one-stop portal type page. It can also help reduce paper usage with employee records.
