Paycom - makes Payroll a breeze!!

Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

Paycom was used to process timecards, paycheck stubs, and employee information/raises/merit increases, employee documentation that needed to be signed between Mgr and staff, etc. It is a great system comparable to Paylocity, Kronos, etc. The sytem was easy for employees to navigate through and change all their information as needed. This would include address changes, bank account information, tax related preferences.

Pros

  • Employee Merit increases needing to be signed by EE and Managers
  • Timecards were clean and easy to navigate
  • Timecard that needed approving by managers could be sent an email directly from the system alerting them they needed to complete the task
  • Processing payroll was easy and fast
  • Audits were conducted timely and clear
  • 401K changes could be done through a bridge between Broker and investment company

Cons

  • Overtime and double time could not be easily viewed until the timecards were closed
  • Creating reports were difficult for me to do without assistance
  • Precomparison to prior processed payroll would be nice
  • It was pretty much the same as any other system as far as costs
  • No negative impact but great standard canned reports
  • Payroll could be processed quickly - as long as managers did their jobs first
  • Paylocity and UKG Workforce Central (discontinued)
The company already had the system in place when we merged with them. Upon learning the new system and transferring all the data correctly, I found it was easy to use, navigate and control. Even though I left that company there were very good products that I wished the new system had and don't. Honestly there is no system that will work 1000% as the data entered sometimes is not correct.

I really don't have any other than our company use of the system. It worked well for Medical practices paying 375 staff.

Using Paycom

8 - HR and Finance
None, I process all payroll on myself and my manager doesn't process with me.

I never ran into issues while processing and there was never any frustration on my end as a user. The system calculated weighted overtime properly which here in California is a huge issue.

Relationship with Paycom

The account representatives were very knowledgeable and helpful for any issues or questions I had.
