Overall Satisfaction with Paycom
We use Paycom for payroll and for HRIS. We onboard with it as well. We were switching systems and the new on did not have a payroll or HR module so that is why we selected Paycom.
Pros

Cons
- I think their reporting system is very confusing! There are too many options and often I can't find exactly what I am looking for.
- There is an initial set up error that they knew about with regards to my DOL status and this causes a lot of confusion for all of us.
- When we signed on to Paycom, we then became IT people. I get several calls a week from employees who cannot log in, etc. This causes me to spend a lot of time on those issues rather than my HR work. I am swamped as it is!
- I think Paycom has made us more competitive in our field because our new employees like the technology.
- I feel secure in the fact that our payroll is accurate because of the checks and balances.
Our implementation team was top notch! Our sales rep, Blain Hill, was amazing also! He was patient with me until I had our administration agree to purchase the platform. I feel like our trainers were wonderful! There was some extra work with getting and reviewing the start-up info they needed but that was to be expected.
I honestly believe I chose Paycom because of the relationship I had with our sales rep. I felt comfortable discussing issues with him and I trusted that he was going to be a man of his word. Blain was wonderful to work with and if I had any issues, I called him and he took care of things.
