Overall Satisfaction with Rippling
Rippling aggregates disparate HR tools into one clean UI. As well it is FAST! Other HR tools are too slow, with too many page loads for any little change. Everything is seamlessly integrated and accessible, all in one place. The fact that Rippling integrates with Okta is amazing. As well the Rippling dashboard allows direct integration with third party HR tools, like elevateaccounts.com,
Pros
- Third party integration with other benefits providers, for health insurance, etc.
- Very easy to use org chart
- Crystal clear paycheck allocation to accounts and tax reporting
Cons
- Getting support for third party applications (like elevateaccounts.com) can take up to 24 hours.
- My employer's HR has to contact Rippling and then the third party app's support.
- It would be nice if there was an online chat where I could troubleshoot issues with a support person directly.
- It would be more convenient if there was a support ticket button directly in Rippling, that automatically knew the context of my problem, based on the Rippling page open in my browser.
- Employees spend less time with HR tasks
- Fewer HR staff can complete HR org functions
- Leadership has less disruptions due to poor HR org functions
Workday feels archaic compared to Rippling. To be honest I am not sure why my former employer used Workday for so long. Rippling uses best practices in UI / UX design that have been around for while, but nobody cared to implement. Rippling seems to be user-centric, actually caring about the user experience.
