Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

I am the HR coordinator, so I use it for payroll, onboarding, assistance with password reset, employee information, building reports, time and attendance and more. I absolutely use it every day and we use it for just about everything aside from recruiting. We are phasing out our time and attendance to a third party so that will be a secondary feature that we won't utilize on Rippling. I love the ease of use with all of the other features. I think most things make sense on Rippling and can be easily found. The only pain points are the Rippling support from time to time, and building a report can be timely and confusing. Other than that, the system is very modernized, sleek, and easy to understand. That is a very important part, just to be as efficient as possible when doing my day-to-day tasks.

Pros

  • Feels like a one-stop shop more than any other system I have used

Cons

  • Building reports can be confusing and timely
  • Rippling Support can lead you in circles and give you the wrong answer
  • Some features are very costly and have too many features that would go unused to be worth spending the money, such as the Recruiting function
Rippling has better design, it makes more sense to me, it also has more on the demand support and builds better rapport with the demos and one-on-ones to explain features, there are more features within the system, less bugs and more consistency. There just seems to be more functions within Rippling and it's much easier to understand them compared to ADP for sure, especially regarding viewing Employee information and time and attendance.
Rippling support is okay. Sometimes it can be very helpful. I know that everyone utilizes AI now but it can be frustrating wanting to immediately talk to a live person and I have to message the AI bot first. Sometimes the support will talk you in circles about your issue and it seems like often the representative does not understand what I'm saying. With all that, they still sometimes have you sit in the chat for over 10 minutes and then email you a solution that does not fix the problem. They have been helpful though and I don't think that they should be faulted for not IMMEDIATELY solving something--but it can get frustrating.

Very usable. I have not had very many experiences with systems as I am new to the corporate world and HR in general. I have only used 3 other systems before this. Because of Rippling's modern design, I think the system is easier on the eyes compared to the 3 and the ease of navigation is very good.

Payroll is very easy to work with, but it's important to note that I have not done Payroll on another system until now. I have done onboarding on Paycom before which is a very good system to me, and I think I like Rippling just as much so that's a big positive. I liked recruiting on previous systems more. We were shown a demo on the recruiting function and it just seemed like a lot to me. I will say we are a small company, so I can see the recruiting function being appropriate for bigger companies, but that is just not the case here.
