Overall Satisfaction with SAP Concur

Travel Expenses. It simplifies the processing of all of our expenses when traveling. The OCR is amazing to automatically process receipts. The ability to automatically detect the type of expense helps to avoid the manual work involved with classifying expenses. Also the mobile app allows the fast processing of expenses.

Because it is one of those solutions that just make sense to be consumed as a pure cloud application. Allowing the entire organization to adopt it without major deployment blockers. The ability to be able to connect using a web browser as well as a native application helps with the adoption, since travel expenses can be submitted and processed while traveling, and there is no need to wait until we return to do that. Overall usability is very good as the UI has been changing and adapting over the past years to adjust to user requests.
We use Netsuite as the System of Record from a finance perspective and integrate it so we can account for the expenses that are submitted by employees and correlate them with the expenses that have been forecasted for the year. Using Concur we have a much more comrehensive and timely view of expenses.
We've evaluated several expense management platforms, and the two strongest alternatives to SAP Concur we found were Expensify and Brex. We found Expensify's interface much more intuitive with impressive smart scanning technology, and it's significantly cheaper for small to mid-sized teams. Brex impressed me with its integrated corporate card approach and startup-friendly terms with no personal guarantees. However, we still found Concur to be the best option for us, being SAP Partners, as we use enterprise software and Concur is the best solution for enterprise environments because of its extensive ERP integrations, especially with SAP systems, comprehensive travel booking features, and robust compliance controls. Despite Concur being pricier and taking longer to implement, it was the best match for organizations operating globally with complex approval workflows and detailed reporting needs, it's worth the investment.
OCR and automatic invoice categorization is absolutely helpful to end users, since it keeps improving the user experience around expense submissions.

The ability to set limits for expenses, group them and process them. The automation provided by the mobile app, that allows for immediate processing of expenses as they happen, and not having to carry the tickets with you. It provides good conversion of currency for international travelers. Overall is a great user experience.

Available APIs allow to leverage existing integration mechanisms. We did not need to create any custom scenario.
Very quantifiable impact in terms of both the ability to submit reports on time and with less investment, as well as the improved accuracy of these reports. Also the ability to review and implement automatic controls allows for a more comprehensive process.
I am not familiar with the competition, but it integrates very well all processes related to expenses and travel management
The ability to normalize a global process for expense management allowed for a better integration between the entire company and the finance organization. Being able to establish and document good processes around travel and expense management allowed us to remove friction that existed when using manual processes combined with point tools
