Overall Satisfaction with Scale Computing HC3

We are currently using HC3 as the server backbone for a new location that is in the works. HC3 allows us to easily start up server instances and manage them just as easily.
  • Snapshot management.
  • Organization of VMs.
  • Cloning/deleting VMs.
  • Shrinking disk sizes.
Whenever needed, the support staff was ready to help and efficient in assisting us with the issues/questions that we had.
We have (as of now), a Domain Controller, an Application Server, a Backup Server, and a Remote Desktop Server. Setting them up was easy since we cloned them all from a template, and after running into an issue with a server, we cloned it from a snapshot and it was perfect.
  • I think it was worth the price for the amount of function and scalability which we gained from purchasing it.
HC3 is definitely a better alternative for the versatility and scalability that it offers compared to other products.
Well suited: Great for IT staff that don't want to be tied down by physical machines since starting up a VM instance is a snap.

Using Scale Computing HC3

10 - 2 are our IT Staff, 8 are from our medical staff, and 3 are from our admin offices. All of which are signing into an RDS Server that's deployed on HC3.
2 - An understanding of how a Hyper-visor functions and then general IT/AD knowledge.
  • RDS Server
  • File Server
  • One of our Domain Controllers
  • Easily able to setup a test environment from one of our templates.
  • Multiple DC's within a given location.
  • Multiple RDS servers for different use-cases and users.
HC3 is a great product with a great support team backing it. I highly recommend it to anyone needing a Server solution like no other.
