Serpstat is a Solid SEO Toolkit for the Price
Overall Satisfaction with Serpstat
We use Serpstat to find great new keywords to target for rankings, uncover competitor backlinks, and track our websites' rankings over time to see how well our SEO is working. Serpstat a powerful suite of tools. That work well together to help you quickly figure out ways to get more traffic (by finding high-potential keywords) how to build authority (by uncovering competitors' sites backlinks and mimicking and outperforming when possible), and measuring results (by seeing how your site is moving in Google's results).
Pros
- Solid keyword research functionality
- Generous rank tracking limits
Cons
- Kind of expensive, but more generous limits than other more costly tools
- Not as many website/competitor backlinks shown as Ahrefs
- Serpstat has helped us uncover dozens of low-competition, decent-volume keywords that we've been able to rank for to drive traffic--we easily doubled organic traffic volume over six months after getting started with Serpstat.
- Serpstat has allowed us to uncover competitors' backlink strategies, which have helped us with our own backlinking for a fraction of the cost of Ahrefs and similar - hard to tell ROI. Still, rankings have improved, and we've saved on the monthly expenses.
Moz and Ahrefs are each behemoth in their own right and are certainly two of the top SEO tool companies in the market. While they may outperform Serpstat as far as data goes, Serpstat does offer a lot of features and functionality at a fraction of the price. I would love to have subscriptions to Moz and Ahrefs, but for the information that Serpstat returns and at its price point, it's a handy tool, especially for smaller companies that don't have big budgets for their SEO research.
