Overall Satisfaction with Slack
We used Slack as our internal comms platform, similar to how you would use Teams. It was great for instant messaging, project collaboration and coordination, and keeping our teams connected, particularly during periods like COVID. Slack was our primary messaging tool at a previous role.

- Organising teams, individuals and projects
Cons
- At the time we found it difficult to delete full chat histories, but this might have improved
- Notifications could sometimes be overwhelming
- Mobile app could be a bit buggy
- Sometimes issues with syncing
- Imperative for team connectivity during COVID which ensured we were able to effectively launch a new global brand during a period when no one could get together in-person to work together
- Microsoft Teams, Google Chat and Discord
Slack and Microsoft Teams are probably the two best options of all the instant messaging systems I've used. I would rate both of them comparably.
