Overall Satisfaction with Smallpdf

Every department in my organization uses this software. This software is very helpful for all kinds of PDF-related work. In my department I need to send office documents to my clients via email and this software helps me to convert my documents into other formats. It also helps me to compress my PDF files to reduce sizes so that I can easily share via email.

Pros

  • Its user interface is very easy. I feel very good to work on it.
  • It also offers browser extension. So I can convert my files from the browser itself.
  • Its encryption feature is one of my favourite features; it ensures the privacy of my documents.

Cons

  • They don't have a mobile app of this software.
  • It does not provide document scan features like other apps. Sometimes I need this feature very badly.
  • In PDF edition they have very basic tools only.
  • Converting other office documents into PDF and then sending them to clients creates a good impression on them because reading on PDF is much better than reading on other formats.
  • Instead of buying multiple softwares for conversion I go with this software to save my money.
  • E-signature feature helps me in saving printing cost of my documents.
I used to convert my PDF files with LightPDF software. But It was slightly difficult for me to navigate on that software. The interface of that software was not very easy to understand. And compression result quality was also not satisfactory. So I selected Smallpdf for all my PDF-related work.
I like this software's performance in various parameters. The very first thing which helped me to complete my work in less time is its easy user interface. It helps me to navigate fast and I can upload my documents very quickly. Sometime the upload takes time when the file size is very big. The end results which I get from this software are very good in quality. This software is very well integrated with Chrome browser.
Its usability in my work is very important. I have to share various documents with my clients very frequently and most of the documents I send them are in PDF format only. So I use this software very much to convert my Word and Excel files into PDF. And whenever I need to send large file to my clients, I convert them into PDFs and compress them with this tool and then I send those files to my clients.
I find its integration with Chrome browser very suitable for me. From the browser itself I can convert all my documents and download them in my system. I find its function as a Chrome extension very easy and fast.
For the conversion of Office Package files this software is one of the best available in the market. I mostly use its PDF compression feature to reduce the size of my PDF files to send them easily over email. This software is well suited for protecting important files by a strong password. With this software users can lock their files with a password.
