Overall Satisfaction with Smallpdf

Smallpdf is one of the most useful pieces of software in my organization. Everyone in my organization uses this software for their respective work. It helps us in converting our office documents from office extensions to PDF format and vice versa. These conversions help us in our project presentations.

Pros

  • It is very effective in compressing large PDF files into smaller size files which are easy to attach in an email.
  • With this tool, I protect my PDF files by encrypting them.
  • It is also helpful by allowing users to sign PDF files electronically.

Cons

  • No offline mode is available.
  • It doesn't have a mobile application. Sometimes I require it on my mobile device when I travel.
  • Sometimes it is very difficult to upload larger files for conversion.
  • Its e-sign feature helps us to save our paper cost. We do our work electronically.
  • It provides security by encrypting/password protection my important and confidential files.
  • It increases my productivity by saving my time substantially in the conversion of office files for printing.
Initially, I used PDFescape for editing my PDF documents. But that tool didn't give me other features related to PDF conversion and PDF protection. So I switched to Smallpdf. This software is one stop solution for most of my PDF related works.

The output quality of the results produced by this software is very good. In some of the situations where the size of the files are big, this software takes time to upload the files but the download speed is quite good and the quality of the documents are satisfactory. PDF compression results are amazing in this software. It reduces the size without compromising on quality.
My most of the work is based on office files so I always require this software. Sometimes I need to print my survey documents so I need to convert them into PDF for actual formatting of the original document. There this software helps me a lot. And its PDF compression is the most required feature for me to help me in my office work.
It is very well integrated with my Chrome browser and helps me to convert my Gmail attachments. This is a new feature which smallpdf added recently. And this is helping me a lot.
The most important and useful feature of this software for me is its compression feature. I mostly use that function for compressing my large documents. By doing this I can easily attach them into my emails and send to my clients and colleagues. Its compression results are very good. Its e-sign tab is also one of the most useful features. Without taking any printouts of my documents I can sign them and use this electronically.
