Great remote support at an affordable price point
Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop Enterprise
We use Splashtop for remote desktop for a couple users who need access to a specific PC on the network. This was a simple and secure way to allow access to those users from their phones or laptops. We also use it with the SOS features for remote support. This was especially useful as we have had people working from home and needing technical support.
Pros
- Remote support
- Remote desktop
- Easy to deploy and use
Cons
- Simpler file transfers to/from remote pcs
- Authentication options
- Simplicity for end users
- Total cost of ownership
- Quick deployment
I feel that Splashtop filled our need for remote desktop and remote support extremely well. The simple security of requiring authenticating devices as I login to them is great, although sometimes frustrating. (they have announced changes to setting lengths between authenticating devices, which should make this even better) Security is important and I feel Splashtop has protections to keep everything safe.
With the simplicity of Splashtop's streamer and SOS software I was able to setup and deploy extremely quickly. In about 15 minutes I was completely ready to go with remote support. Remote desktop is just as simple, install the stream software, some renaming for ease and remote access is ready to go.

Evaluating Splashtop Enterprise and Competitors
- Price
- Product Features
Cost is a large factor with software, but it also has to deliver on key features. Splashtop came in under expected cost and delivers on the most needed features for us.
I’d look at a few more vendors. Only really compared two before going with Splashtop.
Splashtop Enterprise Training
- no training
It was easy to work out and figure the basics to get get setup and running. A little bit of research to figure out the more advanced features. Overall a very simple product to learn and use

- Remote support

Yes - At times it’s hard to mouse around on a phone or small tablet. They have done a good job packing in mouse and keyboard controls on screen and the ability to hide them when unneeded. Performance seems to be as good as on a desktop
Upgrading Splashtop Enterprise

Yes - We added a second account to add Remote Desktop for users and keep our sos/remote support product
