Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

We have staff throughout the entire state while a lot of the files they need access to have to stay at our central office's location. We have been using Teamviewer to allow them access to these files without them saving any of them on their local computer. It also allows us to troubleshoot with them remotely.
  • Offered enhanced features.
  • Free version for personal use.
  • Remote print to local is hard to set up
  • Generic teamviewer is hard to work with branded one
  • Purchased license doesn't work with newer version
  • Old-new versions incompatible issues.
  • Makes work-from-home easy for our remote staff and no worries about snow day, etc
  • Allow us to keep important files at a central location and yet staff can access.
  • Wish it supports mobile - very hard to navigate through mobile device
Over the years, Teamviewer has gotten pricier and more complicated to setup/use. We have found Splathtop so much easier and more cost effective, while not compromising features and speed.

Perfect to remoting to another desktop for troubleshooting or access files on the remote computer.
Not great to use as presentation.

Using TeamViewer

10 - Our Health Educators throughout the state work remotely from our central office. They need to access sensitive files that can be only stored in our central location for their case management. Teamviewer provides the solution for them to access files without transferring them out to their computers. It also allows our support staff to troubleshoot remotely.
