Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

The IT company we use for technology issues works with us through TeamViewer. When the program is initiated, it populates two codes we tell our IT tech. The tech then enters those codes on their end and it allows them to operate a computer as if they were sitting at our desk, even though they are at their office across town. There have only been a few occasions where they needed to come to our office and take a computer back to their shop to work on it. Otherwise, they are able to fix 97% of our issues via TeamViewer.

TeamViewer was recommended by our IT techs. The time it takes to log into GoToMyPC and gain access to a computer is much longer than TeamViewer. TeamViewer has a better dashboard and ease of use than GoToMyPC. I found it much easier to move between remote computer operation and physical computer operation on TeamViewer.

The reduction in time it takes to resolve an IT issue has allowed us to be more productive and maximize our hours of operation. Instead of wasting time and money waiting for an IT tech to arrive at our office, it takes one phone call and two authentication codes to get a problem well on its way to resolution.
Knowing the internal workings of our business are protected and only accessed by those we allow is priceless. The simplicity of the program in tandem with its security has made it our go-to solution for connecting with our IT techs. Thankfully we don't have to "do" much to take advantage of the security features. Just entering/sending the authentication codes when prompted, is super simple.
The program allows remote access to your computer so it should only be used by someone you trust. Our IT company gains access to our computers with this program. You cannot work on your computer at the same time as the other party. They control your mouse cursor and use it to perform whatever action is needed. If you move your mouse, it will override their actions.

Using TeamViewer

The scope of usage for Teamviewer is is much more broad than how our company uses it. We only uses it for technical issues at the moment. The tech guys can access our reps or office staff computers in about 10 seconds after relaying the codes the program provides. Then the time needed to repair the device is all that's left. Teamviewer has made it faster/easier than ever to get our staff back up and working after a tech issue develops.
