Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We utilize TriNet to support our employees with benefits and payroll. We have an HR department of 1 so all the help available is welcomed. It is nice to have a team that you can reach out to when you are having issues with the platform and the HR support is great.

Pros

  • payroll processing support
  • hr guidance
  • time recording for hourly employees

Cons

  • site stability on payroll submission days
  • add on performance management is dated, not a lot of templates
  • Fillable forms and employee document storage to upload employee files to.
  • HR administration time decreased
  • HR compliance resources are helpful
  • payroll accuracy and support
It's ok but there are some interface improvements that are necessary to make the platform more user friendly and easy to navigate. Some employees do struggle with finding where information they need is located. More connectivity of the system with the extra parts, gets frustrating when things don't update properly or information doesn't transfer over when it should.
So far since joining our support has been great! Very responsive and finds the answers to our questions. I do like that they make sure to have someone cover them when they are out of the office and my rep always tells me who is covering so you know who you will need to speak with for support.
Their service is way better than ADP. I was not impressed with the ADP PEO response times and provided support. I would recommend TriNet over them any day if you are looking for a reliable PEO. Oracle is outdated, when I was recently using it within a company, very clunky. Paylocity is my favorite platform but they do not have PEO support so I can't really put the platforms against each other

Do you think TriNet delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with TriNet's feature set?

No

Did TriNet live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of TriNet go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy TriNet again?

Yes

This would be a great solution for a smaller business model without a lot of growth happening. If your company is heavy into M&A this PEO can make things a little more confusing and difficult. The payroll team that I have worked with is great at support on payroll day with issues so that is helpful for a business owner or HR who aren't formally trained in payroll.
