Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

I have absolutely loved TriNet for a few reasons: Their benefits package, ease of payroll compliance, and customer service. Their benefits package allows us to offer many options to our employees, such as life, health, and dental insurance, as well as discounts and many other benefits. With small businesses, it can be hard to compete with a large company, but with all these options, Trinet has allowed us to be a player in the big leagues. I also have peace of mind that we comply and do everything right by running payroll through TriNet. We can also save a ton of money by allowing the experts to do their job so that we don’t have to hire an expensive accountant to run payroll and keep all the laws compliant. This is a tremendous peace of mind. Lastly, TriNet’s customer service has been well above its competitors. I have used other services that are not comparable to TriNet. If I have a question, I can very quickly call or e-mail my account representative, and she immediately responds with an answer. I highly recommend TriNet!!!

Pros

  • Customer service is excellent; my representative always gets back to me in a very timely manner.
  • Ease of use to run payroll. It’s almost a set it and forget it type plan.
  • Benefits We have a lot of options and can be very competitive. We have an employee who worked for the state, and he said our benefits are much better than there’s were. We’re just a small company, so that’s a great attribute.

Cons

  • I have loved some of the class options; however, I think it would be helpful to have some classes that are Specific to each state.
  • Definitely reduced hours on maintaining compliance, which is a lot of money saved.
  • The benefits package has been excellent at helping us become competitive with larger companies.
At the beginning of onboarding, I had very thorough training, which allowed me to use the system with very few questions. Overall, the usability has been very good, and the training is thorough. This is one of the reasons I like TriNet’s system.
TriNet contact support is one of the main reasons we love them so much! Having a personal representative to ask my questions has been a huge help, and knowing that she will get back to me very quickly is a huge benefit to using TriNet. She is also very friendly and goes the extra mile. Highly recommended! There are times when we are dealing with time-sensitive problems, and I never have to worry about getting it done on time because of the excellent service.
I would not say that this is applicable because we did not have them during the pandemic.
Neither are as robust or as easy to use as Trinet. Customer service is not nearly as good as TriNet.
