Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We are a small business of less than 50 employees; we use TriNet as our employer of record and all HR systems. They broker our benefits and serve as our HRIS system.

Pros

  • Customer Support.
  • Education.
  • Tax and Law updates.

Cons

  • Documentation of process.
  • Inconsistencies in standards.
  • It helped with benefit increases.
  • Helps cut down my time manually onboarding.
As a one-person HR team, I couldn't be impactful without a partner like TriNet. I would say there are opportunities for improvement in PTO/Sick Time tracking for organizations who adopt an unlimited PTO plan but still want to track.
I never really have to wait a significant amount of time for support. It's always prompt and helpful. There are sometimes inconsistencies between resources, but I attribute this to internal changes.

I've worked with a lot of PEOs, and TriNet, by far, has the best technology to back up their services. I think once you've expanded past 75-100 employees TriNet and all PEOs start to limit your ability to customize your services.
