Overall Satisfaction with Twilio
We use Twilio for integration with WhatsApp for business. We have found that a significantly higher amount of leads would respond to a WhatsApp message compared to an Email so having WhatsApp communication integrated in our automated sales funnel is an absolute must to convert our leads into prospects and ultimately paying clients.
Pros
- Setting up a virtual mobile number
- Technical implementation resources
- WhatsApp message templates
Cons
- It takes some time to find your way around the Twilio user interface
- Signing up and getting verified was quite time consuming
- Technical support was not bad but could be better
- Increased conversions from digital add to open communication
- Increased productivity through seamless client communication
- Enhanced record keeping with saved WhatsApp chat history
We use WhatsApp only. Our CRM system provides built in channels to communicate with Leads on social media chats and comments including Facebook and Instagram. I guess a solution to integrate LinkedIn chat and comments as well as YouTube comments into our CRS system would also be a time saver.
Yes the automation allows for significant scalability. This includes being able to send automated initial messages which then only needs human intervention when a lead replies to the automated message. We also have access to a trusted communications channel to communicate with international leads which in tern allows us to scale our target audiences.
I've also worked with ChatApp which is another communications integration platform for multiple channels such as WhatsApp and Telegram. I did find their integration setup process a bit more streamlined plus they don't have a WhatsApp template approval process. This then begs the question if one stands the risk of having one's WhatsApp account suspended due to messaging against WhatsApp policies.
