Overall Satisfaction with UberConference

It was used by the agency for the better part of 3 years until we switched to Slack for internal audio/video calls and Zoom for client video/screenshare calls. We used it early on, due to the free usage and ease of setup. Not having to pay to host conference calls was very convenient.

Pros

  • Free to use.
  • Easy to set up.
  • It's easy to invite others to calls.

Cons

  • Audio quality could be choppy sometimes.
  • No video options.
  • No screen sharing.
  • As a free online audio conference option, it was great.
UberConference is free and easy to start and invite users to. It lacks the features of other paid options like Zoom and Slack, and even Zoom's free plan can often satisfy many of our requirements over UberConference.
We've never used UberConference support.

UberConference is best suited for independent contractors, freelancers, and startups that don't have a lot of cash to put toward a paid solution, but still need a convenient online conference call solution. It is less appropriate for calls where you need to share your screen or do a presentation to clients.
