Overall Satisfaction with UserTesting

UserTesting is used by the UX Design team to primarily conduct unmoderated user testing for a variety of new product features.
  • Super quick - Can usually have results in an hour or two
  • Excellent chat support
  • Premier Support can help you set up a test or provide feedback tailored to your testing goals.
  • Organizing tests takes a bit more effort than I would like to
  • Wish folder structure had a variety of views
  • Add in an option to include a SUS survey in an unmoderated test
  • Cost savings - Used to do in person RITE testing
  • Move faster on designs by quickly validating new patterns
  • Validate new ideas that product leadership is unsure of
Support is generally excellent. Only had one scenario with a Premier Support individual who had little to offer in terms of feedback or help with my test.
Easy to set up a test and get going. Once the test is complete, some of the data and analytics are a bit hard to find/buried in UI.
Moving fast! Quickly validate new designs through testing, iterate on the design, and re-test. The time from design to development has improved.

Great to quickly validate new patterns and to run general usability testing for new product features. It can quickly put together a test, launch it, and have results in a few hours. It has been a vital tool in providing research readouts to product leadership.
