Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it for team meetings and calls with third-party non-affiliated groups such as other universities or organizations. It helps give us another reliable tool in which to collaborate and connect with other groups depending on their preferences and existing use preferences. Moreover, it allows our users to use this tool rather than personal cellphones when conducting official communications.

We have not used any other Cisco Collaboration Products in conjunction with Webex.

Security

It has allowed us to set up calls and meetings quite easily especially with third parties since Webex Calling allows users to download temporary applications if they do not currently have Webex Calling installed. Moreover, it is very secure as it allows to control who has access and the host features allow us as hosts to control who can speak and who can control screen share settings in a large meeting which is key.

BlueJeans Events, BlueJeans Meetings, Microsoft Teams, Skype and Zoom

Webex Calling does pretty well against the competition as it is high quality, easy to use, and widely used among other industries. Moreover, it is easy to set up calls, especially among larger groups, and allows us to perform features, such as presenting or discussions, with ease. It provides a lot of the sharing and scheduling features that we require and is much easier than a lot of the competition.

It is particularly useful for those using Webex Calling to conduct short phone call meetings with multiple parties regarding official business. It is easy to set up a call with multiple people and the quality of the call is very easy to use. It may not be appropriate for less formal scenarios between team mates that can more easily facilitated or set up with a phone call.
