Overall Satisfaction with Wrike
We use Wrike as the method we stay organized on marketing projects. We get requests from other employees - generally sales directors and managers, about items that they need for future or existing products. We take those requests and divvy them out by assigning a person to take it on, and then as we get closer to finishing the product, it's really easy to upload files for review, get notes for feedback and changes, and then seek approval for final files. It's really helpful for the marketing and engineering teams.
Pros
- Submitting requests for a project
- Assigning someone to the project
- Showing tasks being completed within the project
- Uploading files for review
- Approving files
Cons
- Implementing a time tracker / stopwatch within each project that could be started or stopped by the owner of the project
- Native support of vimeo video links
- Automatic downrezzing of large video files that are uploaded for review
- It helps us see how much time it takes to develop a product
- It helps us be more focused on what needs done immediately, versus what still has tasks that need done before I can do the next part
Wrike wins this by FAR. MS Project does not have a lot of the features we need, like uploading files for review, automation of tasks, and honestly, MS Project looks so much worse. Not that looks are everything, but if you were to compare someone using Windows 95 to someone using Windows 11 or a Mac OS, you'd be disappointed in it. The ability to collaborate on projects is wonderful in Wrike.

Wrike Mobile App
The mobile app makes it really easy to see what projects have come in and what it my priority for the day. I think that it's nice being able to have my list on my phone, next to me, so that my computer screen doesn't need to have the app open or another tab on the website.
In my role, the biggest features are the board view and at a glance be able to see what has been approved or needs review. We use various progress labels, like, "requested", "scheduled", "editing", "in review", and it helps me keep track of what is happening. I like how custom it is for what I do.
The feature that has the most value to me is actually the review and approval process. Being able to send a video and then timestamped notes really helps a lot. A close second is just being able to have my task list NOT being on my computer. I like to keep my computer set for editing videos.
It helps me stay productive because if I submit something for approval, I can easily check to see what's next on my list. Do I need to be planning the next video shoot? Scheduling a location? Finding talent? Talking to product team to know what products are next on my list to film? It's great.
Organization is important. Find what works for you and stick with it, and everyone will start working more productively by not wasting time in between projects in a whirlwind of confusion. Ability to prioritize is great.
Yes, I use mobile way more frequently than the desktop app or the website.
